Audio Systems: Car audio error message, ford 6000, message phone

I recently had my Ford Mondeo serviced and when it was returned the audio system displayed the message PHONE.  The car has a hands free kit fitted, but has never been used since I have had the car, and the message has never happened before in previous services. I have entered the security code, but this had no effect.  The audio unit is the original Ford 6000 RDS audio - please help...

well, if you just had it serviced and this coincided perfectly with that, I'd complain to the manager and make them fix it.  Since you know your security code you can try to reset the unit by leaving the car battery disconnected for a day.  then hook it back up and see if it's better.
