Hello,

How do I remove a car stereo from an '04 Honda Civic?  I need to take it out to repair the CD player.  Thanks a lot!

Sensible people do not 'repair' mobile automotive cd players. They are cheaper to replace than to repair. This means that even if you could get one repaired (and you can.. though it is wasted money in the eyes of the industry) it would still be used and out of warranty when you got it back for reinstallation.

I have not done an '04 ANYthing.
I would not presume to do a walk-through, even if I did (there are so many spendy things that can get broken and I have no idea what your level of skills are).
You will have to take it to a shop for removal and reinstallation. Depending on the shop you choose, expect to spend from $30-100 USD (each way).
