Audio Systems: no power to stereo, driver speaker, show car

I checked all fuses and still have no power to stereo?. I had to jump start my car and I put the cables on the backwards. and my stereo never worked again. I had to buy a new battery and new stereo and it still doesn't work. Any idea's ?

I think you better have an expert look at it - up close, rather than long distance through an email!

Sorry you are having such a bad day.

In the long run, when troubles occur, there is no substitute for tracing out all the wires; putting a piece of masking tape on each one and writing where it goes.  "front driver speaker plus", front driver speaker minus", front passenger speaker and so forth.  It is laborious, but the only solution for knowing without any doubt which wire is which and where they should be connected to the head unit.  If it sounds tough, it is, but there is no other way - will, there is another way and that is to discard the existing wires and run all new ones through out the car; can be done, the show car people do it all the time.
