Car Alarms: 1993 929 Mazda, minimum duration, factory security

Question
Most of the time, my 929 is triggering the alarm when I unlocked it with the key. Locking it did not always turn the alarm off and if it did then I still needed to unlock to get in. This is from my drivers door. How can I turn the factory alarm system off, if the door fix is not easy? Thanks!

Answer
Ok, if malfunctioning now, odds
are, it will again.

Get out some basic install tools or get
a friend or a good technician
in there to do this.

Normally, you would insert the key in
the drivers door, turn left, then right
to disarm and reset it. If yours is malfunctioning,
you can disable it for good by doing the following:

The FACTORY ALARM DISARM WIRE IS
blue/white |-| located in the drivers
kick behind module.

Blue/white at the relay
DOES NOT DISARM FACTORY SECURITY!
Remove silver module in drivers kick panel.
Reach into recess, pull out harnesses.
Two blue/whites in black plug. Test the one
which is one pin from the corner,
shows (-) pulse when door unlocked with key.
Very short pulse disarms without unlocking.
Remote starting will trigger factory security.
Use a 528T pulse timer (40.) at minimum duration
to disarm without unlocking.

Tough one. I'd strongle suggest a tech/Pro installer
to get this one done right. Just give him/here
the notes.

Have a good day.
