Audio Systems: 1997 Dodge Dakota Sport / Rear Speaker Romoval, rear seat belts, dodge dakota sport

Question
I'm trying to help a friend...please advise procedure for [original, factory installed] rear speaker removal for the subject vehicle.
Thank You!

Answer
It's a complete b*stard of a job. You have to remove the rear seat belts, all the trim, and a few other things. If you don't have the torx tool to remove the seat belt bolts, mayby consider having it done at a car audio shop. Only the 1988 to 1995 GM trucks were a worse job to do rear speakers.
