Audio Systems: bose, trialblazer, aftermarket stereo

Question
i have a 2005 trialblazer and i want to change the factory radio to an aftermarket is ther any help u can give me or any wireing tips what ever u can think of just let me know

Answer
well if you have a bose system, they usually dont work so good when you just change one part.  the speakers are usually very low ohms so you cant use a standard amp to run them, there is usually an amp hidden in the vehicle somewhere and they are known for going bad quite regularly.
so in other words, if the system is starting to fail or you really do want to change it, you need to change everything.  you need to get new speakers in all the doors, a new aftermarket stereo.  AND you have to pull all new wires from the stereo to the doors to make sure you're bypassing all the old bose junk.
there's all kinds of bypass "kits" and things that are suppose to make aftermarket units "compatible" with the bose system but most people find gutting it and runing your own stuff is better.
