QuestionHi, is it possible to put a head unit for example a Pioneer DEH-P77OOMP in a head unit compartment in a dodge stratus sxt coupe which has a slightlty larger compartment then that of a civic?
Also if you could please let me know a suggestion for the best complete Audio system for the 2004 Dodge Stratus SXT coupe in an affordable price range $1200 or less.

Answerwell, first thing I would do is go to www.crutchfield.com and fill out "find what fits my car" they'll show you the dash kits etc. that are available for your vehicle. from there you can pick your parts etc.
your price range is a very realistic price. Most people say they want to shake their neighborhood for under $200 and it's very frustrating!
Id start by getting the new cd player and a good amp and set of subs if your door speakers are in good shape.
if you have any money left over then go for changing the front door speakers, if you still have more money get an amp for the front door speakers. as a last step you can change out the rear door speakers if you want but dont spend a ton on them, the fronts are more important.
also if you want to save some money and know what you're doing get the amps and subs and stuff off Ebay or somewhere cheap. I recomend getting the cd player from crutchfield though since the cd player is always the first thing to fail, plus crutchfield will give you everythign you need to install the new one and remove the old one for free!
