Audio Systems: AMP LED WONT TURN GREEN, kicker amp, cvrs

Question
yes...i have a 06 kicker 750.1 wired up to 2 12'' cvrs...which played great until i add a 4 channel 200 kicker amp to my mids...it has seprate rca, power, and ground connections....but the remote wire is spliced together...i had it all hooked up..and it played for 15 mins then the 750.1 just shut off...now when i turn the key on the the LED light goes red for about 4 seconds then slowly fades out with no output on the speakers...and when i reversed the wiring from the remote wire from on amp to the other, it does the same thing..wiring has been checked many times...what would be the problem?????

Answer
sounds like you did everything right as far as wiring.  you're suppose to just split the remote wire and either use separate power and grounds for both amps or run a fat power and ground and split with a power distribution block but either way is perfectly fine so you did good there.

I would hook up the just kicker 750 to power and remote.  in other words remove the speaker wires and RCAs and see what happens.  if the green goes on then maybe your subs got crossed up or grounded or something.
Try that first and let me know.
