Audio Systems: Power Amp, electrolytic capacitors, liquid leakage


Question
I have a Nady 300 power amp it's 4 yrs old when I running one day it maib a pop sound then a buzz sound that wont stop. I checked the fuse its good I checked the board I didn't see any hot spots. Any idea?

you're going to have to open it up, and look very closely at your electrolytic capacitors, especially the ones close to heat sinks. if you find any with the tops bulging or open, replace them. this is a place to start. also note the bottom area on capacitors, look for liquid leakage.. good luck...
