Audio Systems: Stereo speakers, private question, question option

My fiance just asked me a question, he is installing stereo speakers in his truck and wanted to know if it will hurt the speakers if the magnet sticks to the metal in your vehicle.  I thought that was what it was for, to hold it in place.

You did not use the private question option, so you will get a very simple answer.
No, it will not 'hurt' the speakers and magnets are what allow the speaker to move/function, they are not for mounting! lol
Maby next time he should ask an expert :)
