Audio Systems: panasonic cq-jb6710l, removable face plate, panasonic cq

hello i have a panasonic cq-jb6710l and the anti-theft has locked the stereo. i have the code but it shows off on the display. i was needing to know how to get it to let me put the code in. any help would help.   thank you

I cannot find this model at panasonic.com - are you sure about it?  I can see the reference for it as a Mitsubishi car model. Do you have it installed in a Mitsubishi?  Maybe the dealership can help you.

I would try a hard reset, then follow the instructions in your owners manual.  To hard reset, lift the cables off the plus terminal of the car battery for 10 minutes.

When it is powered up it should ask you to enter the security code.  Also, if it has the removable face plate, try removing it and putting it back on.
