Audio Systems: in dash 6 disc cd player, 05p, ford explorer

My player won't eject or play my cd's..it will only say cd error.  I have been informed there is a reset but you have to take it out of the dash.  I have a 2002 Ford explorer..factory unit.. what is the best way to remove the player from the dash?
