Audio Systems: Jammed CD Player, eddie bauer, cd player

The 6 cd direct-load player in my 2002 eddie bauer explorer has been jammed
for over a year. In the past when it jammed the cd's would just eventially pop
themselves out. This time that did not happen. Is there anyway I can manually
discharge them or do I have to put in a whole new unit?

I think you have limped that poor unit as far as it will go. Time to install a decent after market unit. Just make sure the shop knows how to interface to the premium audio system. If you are replacing the head unit, the factory changer will have to come out too. If you are replacing the factory changer, the head unit will have to be replaced also.
