Audio Systems: connectin car system in home, infinity kappa, dc power supply

Hi I was wondering what I would need to hook up my car cd deck and a audiobanh amp model #a8002t powering 2 single voice coil infinity kappa perfect 12.1 subwoofers, what would I need to power this and how would i hook it all up? I cant seem to find a guide on this on any sites.

You are wanting to do this in your home, right?  The only indication I have that this is part of your question is the "Subject" portion of your post, so I just want to check.

This can be a very dangerous thing to do, especially if you try hooking up batteries.

My recommendation is to use the High-current 12V power supplies you can buy at tiger-direct or microcenter that are intended for use as PC Computer power supplies.  They're really the cheapest option you'll have for an AC-to-DC power supply with enough current draw to do the job.  I would actually suggest getting two - one for the head unit and one for the sub amp.  Your sub amp is probably driving at 2-Ohms, so a 500W or higher supply will do.
