Audio Systems: Problem with my player/stereo, phase linear, hardware department

I have a Phase Linear CD-player/stereo (not installed by me) in my car.  It does not work at all, like it is not getting power, but I don't see anything obviously wrong with the wiring and I just replaced the fuses.  Can you give me a clue as to what's wrong?

Walmart to the rescue - unless you already have a vom.  The walmart vom at $9.83 found in the hardware department is perfect for auto testing.  Use it to check the actual voltages getting (or not getting) to the unit. Then you will know.  

If the unit is getting power and still is not coming one then you may have to pull the unit out; bench test it for working condition or not.

You will have to be a good troubleshooter; if this is too advanced for you, take it to a local repair shop where they can sniff it out in a jiffy.
