Audio Systems: 1987 Celiberty, private question, question option

My Grandmother had this car 18 yrs and the radio has never worked. I installed a pioneer using the wiring harness and match the wires exactly. Still the unit will not turn on. However, I did notice the ground had been cut but there was and is a black ground attached to the car and bolted to the back of the old Delco unit.  Also, the unit has a orange and brown connector attached to the top of the old unit is the orange wire the power source?  I have the New unit red connected to old yellow and black to black and new orange to old gray. Any suggestions? Thanks

Well, you sure do not want to take this one to a pro.. Celebrities are one of the hardest dashes around to deal with. They would easily charge you $75.00+ to rewire it.

I would however suggest a rewire for it.
If you re-ask this to me and use the private question option, I will tell you how to do this step by step and perfectly.

If that is too much trouble for you, you will need to try another expert.
