Really?
O.K. continuity is the uninterrupted connection between two points.
You put a wire on a battery and then a test lamp on the other end and earth it, lights up, wallah! you have continuity, if you don't get a light then there is NO continuity and you have an open circuit. (same thing applies using a test meter, OK?
