Audio Systems: multiple disc, google searches, electronic brain

we have a 2002 Honda accord with a stock 6 disc cd changer. My son shoved multiple CDs in it and now it just flashes ERR it won't eject or load anything. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

Can't guarantee, but normally, for this kind of jam up, it will clear with a hard reset.

To do the reset you must completely remove power from the unit for at least a full 30 minutes. Easiest way to do this is just lift the hood and with a small wrench loosen the postive cable and remove it from the battery.  IF: You have a cd unit with anti-theft built in, be sure you have your theft code or you will never get it going again!

If this does not solve the problem you will probably have to take it to a repair shop where they can unjam it.

If you do some google searches you may be able to find some forums that deal with these removals and restorations; it is a common occurence.  There are many causes and cures, internally, to the mechanisms; they are very complicated because they have an electronic brain that controls all the mechanical movements.
