Audio Systems: Radio fuse block, fuse block, blown fuse

Question
Alright, one day i came home from school the radio was working fine. I went out and turned my car on. the radio didnt work. i went to the fuse block to find the 15A fuse blown. I replaced it and everytime i turn on my ignition the fuse blows. I disconneted my radio as well as my amp and subs. and the fuse keeps blowing when i turn the ignition on. i tried finding a short but i couldnt. Could the problem be behind the fuse block? Please HELP! thanks so much

Answer
Hi Todd,
You are going about it in the right way, one by one disconnect each circuit on that fuse line, if you have the owners manual it will tell you what units are connected to that fuse. fit a meter set to Ohms instead of the blown fuse so you can see the needle or read out, it will show a short instead of blowing a heap of fuses, just a process of elimination and tracing I'm afraid, no real short cut just get your head under the dash and get grubby!.
