I am putting in an after market radio in a 94 ford escort wagon.  My question is am I needing a radio install kit and does the antenna need an adaptor?

its always a good idea to get the harness. if you dont you pretty much have to chop all the existing wires and you'll never be able to put the factory stereo back in the car if you want to sell it.  
go to www.crutchfield.com
fill out the "find what fits my car" thing
click accessories and see if theres a wiring harness and an antena adapter.  if they show one, you'll need one.
