Audio Systems: Amp/Spkr/Sub Query, watts rms, jbl bass

Question
Hi Mark, i'm in a bit of a dilemna here and was wandering if u could help... I have 4 x 4" speakers each capable of about 25 watts rms max... and a JBL bass tube capable of 250 watts rms max. I want to run all items from one four channel amp... either the 400watt Kenwood KAC-6402 or the 625 watt Kenwood KAC-8401... Which one has enough juice for the job? can i make due with the 400w?

Thanx in advance.

Fabian

Answer
well the KAC-8401 is actually a closer match for these components, especially the JBL bass tube.
Please dont get the wrong impression here but I'm guessing the reasone for hoping you can "make due with the 400w" is simply a matter of cash?  If so may I recomend this amp?

Its less expensive than the 400w kenwood and has more power than the 625w kenwood!

I have 2 of them in my jetta and several in friends cars and we are all very happy with them.

Good luck and let me know what you think!
