Audio Systems: amp install, rca jacks, sound interface

got a new ford explorer and was wondering how to install an amp since the back of the stereo dosen't have RCA jacks. Does it have something similar to a crossover or fiber optic?

You will need a good premium sound interface. Check with a local car audio shop, they should have them in stock. Many of the new versions are plug & play, meaning no cutting of your harness is required. Scosche, Peripheral, PIE, and Blitzsafe all have made good ones in the past.
