Audio Systems: Alpine CDA 7893 stopped producing sound, alpine cda 7893, internal amps

I have a Alpine CDA 7893 deck.  I have had it a few years and recently installed it into the 2001 4runner i purchased.  A few days ago the speakers stopped receiving a signal.  Deck lights up, subwoofer works and everything seems normal, except no sound out of door speakers.  I do hear a slight popping in the speakers when i turn the internal amp on and off on the deck settings.  Any advice?

Do you have power amps to feed the door speakers? Or are they powered from the internal amps in the deck?

In any event, the door speaker amps  is not getting signal.  Try the cables and wires to and from the head unit to the external amp.

In the worst case you may have to pull the Alpine deck out and test it on the bench to determine if the problem is within the Alpine or in the cars wiring or power lines.
