Sir,
Mercedes C200k sport(1997)
I have two problems, the 1st lead to the other,
The 1st problem is with center lock remote control, the batteries die fast, one week I opened it but don’t know where is the problem,
2nd problem is when closing the door using blade key only the driver door closes, I try to turn the key more that once, the same result, same for closing,

Hi Nizar.
I have two Mercs, a 1987 190E Cosworth 2.3-16v and a 2001 A170 elegance CDi auto, both with central locking.
On your C200K sounds like a break in the vacuum of the system or the vac pump is not working. This is usually under the rear seat wrapped in a foam box, when the locks operate the command from the front door, left or right, it sends a signal to the pump and applies the open or close vacuum to the other doors, when you have found the pump, operate the lock and listen if the pump works, if it does you have a vacuum problem  on one of the tubes, if it doesn't work you have either a duff pump, blown fuse on the fuse box or a break in the wire.

Remote batteries should last between 6 and 9 months depending on use (four to eight times a day is usual), make sure you are not pressing any buttons when in your pocket against the keys etc.
Hope that helps, Peter

Could be the switch attached to the drivers door lock that sends the signal to the pump to opperate, does your model lock from both sides like mine? If so, does it do the same on the passengers side? If it does lock all doors then the problem is definetly in the drivers door, if not it might be the CL relay.

Answer
Relays mostly mounted in fusebox or against bulkhead in the well between engine bay and front scuttle.
Do an audio check (listen) to the pump, is it working, if so you have a vacume leak and need to check all pipes, if it's not then you have a electrical problem and that could be anywhere from door switch, relay, pump, fuse, etc. (and needs me on site, care to send $700 for the fare ;-) , only kidding)

Problem like this you really need to know the car and I would say get a good (none factory owner's guide) manual.

Also open 'search' on your browser and look for "Mercedes owners club" there are many good forums on line that are very helpfull too.
All best , Peter
