The above has lots of nice pictures and diagrams on removal and installation. However, it is for the 1985 - 1993 Cad Deville.  It will be very useful, though, because not much changes were made so far as the basic mounting and wiring schemes.

The above site is a listing of the Crutchfield site for your car.  You can see the models, the options, the mounting hardware and the wiring harnesses they supply.  If you purchase from Crutchfield they will send with the order a wiring harness and complete instructions on how to remove and install.  It is a very good service.  Of course, you can buy your equipment from anyone, but this site is very good to show what is compatible.  Crutchfield is a leader in knowing the ins and outs of the wiring diagrams and mounting hardware requirements of all autos and trucks.  I like them alot.

If you have no electronic background you may find it more useful to employ the services of a trained tech; they know the wiring and hardware in and out.

If you have some basic background you should purchase a simple VOM meter and use it to verify the 12v lines and the speaker wires; that way you know for certain where all the wires are going.

If you accidently get the wiring wrong you can cause serious damages to the head unit.  It pays to be ultra careful.

May the battle begin!  Let me know if you shall need further assistance.
