Answer

Uri,
You might find such a source for power in the radio harness, but the usual way to do this (when the deck is alreeady installed) is to find what is called a 12v 'switched' power source in the vehicle.
That is... a terminal or wire that has 12 volts going to it only when the key is in the 'On' or 'Accessory' position.
This should be ran to the Remote terminal on the amplifier through a properly fused wire (which you add).

What you are looking for should be on the fuse box. It may even have a terminal labeled '12v Sw' (switched), because many vehicles have these expandable fuse terminals from the factory.
If it has no label, you can use a 12v testlite or a multimeter to determine which terminal (or fuse) can be tapped into.
Alternately, you could search for a 12v Switched wire which you could tap into for this emulated 'remote' function.

There are other ways to do this, but the fuse taps work for most installers.

Good luck and thanks for the question. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Sincerely,
Jerry Mael
