Audio Systems: saab clarion lock up, clarion head, saab 900

i have a factry clarion head unit and cd player in my 93 saab 900 turbo conv. before i knew the code i entered false codes in and the head unit siezed up, i have the code now but the flashing code sign no longer shows up so i can enter it, what do it do?

Answer
A hard reset. This requires power being removed from the unit entirely.  Best way is to disconnect the cable on the plus side of the battery.  Leave it off for about 30 minutes then hook it up again.

PS: There may be a restore code necessary as well; it would be in the owners manual and is usually a 4 digit code such as 0711 or something like that.
