Audio Systems: Subwoofer wiring, 4 ohms, ohm loads

Question
Hi,
I have 2 of these in a sealed box

And I just ordered this amp
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6522.html
The Kicker owners manual says that if you wire the subs in parallel you will get a 0.5 ohm load and a 2 ohm load if wired in series.  The lowest impedance the amp can handle is 1 ohm.  I was wondering if it would still be okay to wire the subs in parallel, because I want to get the most number of watts that I can.  Also if you have any suggestions for any other amps could you tell me please, because I still have time to cancel the order, or return it when I get it.
Thank you.

Answer
well the link you sent me for the subs says dual 2 ohm so each sub has 2 coils and theres 2 subs so the options you have using BOTH subs not just individual specs are:

OPTION 1 all in parallel:
2 ohms divided by 4 coils = .5 ohm

OPTION 2 all in series:
2 ohms times 4 coils = 8 ohms

OPTION 3 each sub's coils in series then the 2 sets in parallel:
4 ohms / 2 sets = 2 ohms

option 2 is the best for this amp since it doesnt support .5 ohm loads and 8 ohms is a waste.
if you need any help about exactly how to wire option 3 let me know!

good luck!
