Audio Systems: Nissan Sentra radio, nissan sentra, dashboard lights

I have a 2001 Sentra with the factory radio/CD.  Everything works fine except that when I turn on my dashboard lights, there is no lighting on the radio display, i.e. clock and radio stations.
How can I fix this?

Sounds like the lights may possibly be burnt out.  The only way that this could be fixed is to have the unit taken out and taken to someone that fixes electronics and replace the lights. But, it almost might be more economical just to have the unit replaced with an aftermarket unit from a local speciality dealer.
