Audio Systems: Amplifier Install---Remote Wire, xm roady xt, power input

Question
I am installing an XM Roady XT unit on my motorcycle without an exsisting radio.  I bought an amp (150W) to power my speakers.  My question is about the Remote Wire from the amp.  In a normal install with a stereo there is a wire from the head unit to tell the amp to power up when the stereo is on.  However the XM unit does not have a remote wire.  Do I connect the remote wire from the AMP to the power wire from the XM unit to the battery? Or do I connect it between the XM unit and the AMP somwhere?

Answer
No, the remote wire will have to be hooked up to a ignition wire that turns on and off with the key.  The power wire on the XM piece is for power input only.  It will also have to be wired to an ignition wire that turns on and off with the key.  Alternativly you could also wire a two wire toggle switch to turn the amp remote and the XM on whenever you wanted.
