how do you uninstall a 2001 ford F150 factory radio? if you could tell me step by step. please. thank you

You should have two holes either side of the radio, you insert the prongs of the radio removal tool (if you have lost yours you can get them most places inc Radio Shack) in there and pull it out OR if not you have a facia with a vent either side of the radio and a space underneath, this needs to be removed and the radio is fixed in behind this on 4 screws.
If you go to ebay and type in "Ford F150 radio" you will at least four different types of radio for 1998>04 F150, a facia panel and the fittings are clear to see.
