Audio Systems: seems not to have power, blown fuses, baily

Question
my deck isn't working.  I have a pioneer deck running 6 speakers.  two front, four in the back, the back speakers just have split wires.  i have a new JVC amp running two 12's that i just put in a new sub box i built.  I had power to the amp...and everything was working. then it shut off.  i have no blown fuses, i do have power to the back of the deck, but it doesn't seem to know it.  The amp now also doesnt have power.  Everything was working beautifully for a long time until i built this new box...any ideas? dead deck? i've heard people say maybe a short put my deck into some kind of safety mode?...

Answer
Hi Eric,

Are the amplifiers getting their switched power signal from the deck? And do they have +12V at the BATT connection?

At the deck is there the +12v on ACC and +12v on memory?
Is the Deck ground wire connected still?

There could well be a blown track on the pcb inside the deck but cannot tell till I know what voltages are where.

Please get back to me.

Regards Baily :)
