Audio Systems: Old Optimus car am/fm/cassette setting, preset button, allexperts

I got an old truck with a lousy radio, so I put one in that I'd had in another car (sitting in the garage), it's an Optimus.  But I can't remember how to set either the time or the presets.  There are two little buttons ME and F/C (frequency/clock I think); I thought it inolved those.  I've tried the hold preset button down for a few seconds, but that doesn't seem to change the preset.

This would really need to be seen in person, but here are a few things to try:
You might try hitting F/C, then using the station changer to set the time.
As to stations, you may be able to manually set one then just hold the preset button you wish to assign it to (for about 5 seconds).
