Audio Systems: blowing fuses!!!!!!, amp fuses, ohm subs

Question
i have a power acoustik lx2-1000 2 channel 1000 watt amp thats mosfet bridgeable crossover hpf/lpf bass boost 2 ohm stable pushing 2 orion 12s that are 500 rms and 1000 watts max. my problem is that the amp keeps blowing the 2 25 amp fuses, i bought the amp new about 2 weeks ago. i bridged it to the one speaker and jumped it to the other  2 drop the oms, the speakers are duel voice coils. the ground is good i have checked everything and i cant figure it out, this has never happend to me.PLEASE HELP

Answer
Most likely the ohms of the speakers are lowwer than the amp is made to run.
If its bridged then it only supports 4 ohms bridged not 2 ohms.  the 2 ohm rating is for stereo only.
you gave me the exact model of the amp which is VERY helpfull but I need the model of the subs too, can you give me that please?
are these them?:

they are available in a dual 2 ohm and a dual 4 ohm.  I need to know which ones you have and how you have the 4 coils wired, all in series, or parallell or a mix of both and exactly how.

The right match for this setup would be if you have the 4 ohm model subs.  you would wire each sub in series then the 2 subs together in parallel.  that would be a 4 ohm load and shouldnt blow fuses.
If you have the 2 ohm version then there is no way to get the amps full potential.  they simply are not a good match.  if you get another one of these amps (the EXACT same one) then you'll have a match for the 2 ohm subs)

Let me know exactly what you have.
thanks!
