I find this subject is debated all over the discussion forums. Most of them are giving their personal thoughts.
Tweeters position at dashboard, I installed component set on door panel already. Can I get better Image/Stage by installing Mid at kick panels?

It sounds like you have tweeters on the dash and mids and tweets (component set) in the panels. This is not uncommon, but it is not enough info to advise you fully in this matter.

From what you told me it seems more like 'Would adding an additional midrange in the panels help?'
Possibly.

You are talking about sound, a subjective topic (to say the least). Every ears' performance is different (even from left to right on each person) and there are as many ideas on how to solve this as there are sand pebbles on the beach.
Therefore, all of these 'personal thoughts' you have been digging through are just as sporadic as the ears and minds that derived them.

Here is a partial list of questions you need to deal with before you go on:
Are you after headphone type stage/image or live performance stage/image, or are you after something more like a good two speaker home system?  How much rear-fill do you want (if any) is also a factor. Again , this is a partial list.
Any of these setups can be outstanding, so it boils down to YOUR vehicle, YOUR tastes and YOUR expectations.

I will not go into proper mid/tweet alignment and distances between them since this is outlined quite well in the IASCA forums and elsewhere.
