Audio Systems: Range Rover / Harmon Kardon system, fuse boxes, ford wiring

Question
I am sorry if you have already seen a question similar to this but I accidentally spelled my email address wrong and could not see a reply.  I have a 2001 Range Rover that I recently purchased that has the 11 speaker Harmon Kardon system (each front door has a separate amplifier, tweeter, mid-range and driver while each rear door has an amplifier and two speakers.  There is also a powered subwoofer mounted above the cd changer in the left rear of the car).  When the unit powers on, sound only comes out of the subwoofer.  Not one of the ten speakers is functioning.  All fuses are good.  Could one bad amp shut down three others?  Or could there be a remote "power-on" wire for these amps disconnected?  Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Answer
No, I did not see this question before.

I suspect the 12v turn on line is not getting to the power amps.

The above link is general ford wiring schemes that may help.

The above install instructions may lead you to the right 12v ignition switch wire, etc.

In the worst case, go to Walmart and purchase their $9.83 vom (they have several; don't get the one in the automotive department; get the one in the electrical area) and use it to check the lines feeding the amp to see if they have the 12 live wire going to them.

Also, there are two fuse boxes on the Ranger; one big one under the hood and a small one under the dash near the steering column; be sure you have checked them both.

Good Luck,
