Audio Systems: my kenwood 10disc, cuetip, unfortunatly

ive just got a new car with a 10 disc changer already in it but when i put discs in its says e-04 on it please help and try and tell me why. thanks ali

mostly likely these either need cleaning or replacing at this point.  try a cleaning kit first and if that doesnt help just get a new one unfortunatly.
If you are so inclined you always can try tearing it apart and cleaning the lens on the laser with a cuetip and alcohol.
