My son has a Saturn S series 4 door sedan.  He needs to replace the speakers in the fron doors.  What the steps for removing the old speakers?

I have found that you must study carefully how the door panels are attached and learn how to pull it off, or at least the portion that covers the speakers.

The speakers are usually screw mounted and have water-protecting plastics around them.  Installing the new speakers is straightforward.  However, you must make sure you have the correct speakers so the hole alignments match and the speaker depth is not too deep and therefore interferes with window operation, etc.
