Audio Systems: Alpine CDA-9825 stereo, alpine cda 9825, internal fuse

Question
When we bought our Honda Civic, it already had a Alpine CDA-9825 car stereo and an Eclipse Power amp installed. Our car battery died and since it has been replaced, our stereo has displayed that is was working but no sound will come from a CD or the radio. We have replaced the fuses and it still doesn't work. We don't know how to fix it so the sound will work. Thanks!

Answer
So, let's assume the Alpine head end is working.

Then, the problem is likely with the Eclipse amp.  Check the fuse, again for this amp as well as its internal fuse (if it has one; check the manual [you can download the manual from their website, usually]).

Also, check the wires to the amp making sure they are all securely connected to the amp in the right places.

If you have a vom or battery checker, make sure the amp is getting the 12v when it is ON.

Hope this helps.  Let me know if you need more.
