I have a 1995 Toyota Landcruiser, and I bought a new stereo head unit (Pioneer) for it, mostly because the stock cd player has been spazzing out intermittenly for the last couple of months and two of the light displays have just gone out.  I bought a harness, made the right connections  (color coated, fairly straight forward) and plugged in the antenna jack and the harness.  I blew a fuse the first time I went to put it in, because I left the car on.  I replaced the fuse, which controlled the cigarette lighter.  But now I  can't get the stereo to turn on, and also the time display is off now.  I checked all the fuses and only the cigarette one was blown.  Now I fixed it, but I can't even turn on my new stereo, Any help would be appreciated.

For car stereo and other mobile, low voltage questions, please go to the allexperts.com section Autos > Auto Repair > Car Radio/Stereo System Repair or you can try one of the other guys in “Audio Systems” who handles car stereos. I don’t.
