Audio Systems: 91 blazer old body, hatch area, factory speakers

Question
How would you configure a speaker system in this truck without hitting your foot on the speakers in the front door every time you get in and out?  I have two tens and two good punch amps.  Help if you can. Thanks Rick

Answer
Rick,

humm
You said you have two subs and two amps.
Are you planning to use the factory speakers or are you not using mids or highs?
I can only help you with the gear you describe and presume that you are not hitting your feet on the factory speakers grills, ect.
There is no 'overall answer' that will work for everyone and every vehicle as to speaker placement.
What I can tell you is, that you should not be using ANY of the factory system after 15 years.

I would just start by putting the 10's in the back [in an enclosure designed for them]. The amps could go back there, too.

If you want more help please re-ask the question PRIVATELY. Provide brand names and models numbers of all of the gear you are installing. Then, if you are wanting to use any original 1991 equipment, do NOT.
Interior pictures of the dash, doors and rear hatch area would help. If you have any I will tell you where to email me in the private reply.

Sincerely,
Jerry Mael
