Audio Systems: memory loss, test light, memory loss

Hi, I have been having problems with keeping the radio stations tuned in after the car engine has been tuned off, also the cd player does not remember the point that the cd was at and will reset its self each time
any help would be gratefull cheers

Check for a blown memory fuse in the fusebox or at the back of the radio if it's an aftermarket. Some vehicles this fuse serves many functions, and can be located in the fusebox under the hood too. Check with a test light or multimeter rather than visual.
