Audio Systems: 2000 Nissan Sentra volume is stuck, nissan sentra, metal tabs

I have the factory installed CD/radio, and about a month ago I noticed that the volume knob was slipping when I tried to alter the volume. Now the knob no longer controls the volume, which is stuck at a high, unlistenable volume. Is there a fix for this? If not, what is your recommendation? The CD player and radio work perfectly.

needs a new knob or if you are very carefull and work on a clean table you can take it apart
take the face off and all buttons  disolder the volume knob
bend the litle metal tabs and open it
you need to clean it put new grease and bend the legs down about 1 mm all 4 of them

right now at the moment to lower the volume turn it down and move it left and rigth when turning down it will make contact and volume will go down
