sound suddenley went dead in a marantz pm 432a intergrated stereo which is about 15 years old any solution

Dear Gary,

I can't find any information re your unit on the web. Best move is to take it in to a qualified repair service for a bench test. Cost will be in the $50-75 range for a full diagnostic; and most services will credit that amount toward the final repair.

This is something you should seriously consider. Marantz has historically made some pretty good audio products. Who knows? You may have simply blown a fuse? BTW, did you check for these?
