Audio Systems: Eagle Vision after market stereo install, radio bench, power antenna

I'm trying to install a Pioneer AM/FM CD player into a 97 Eagle Vision Tsi. Unfortunately I clipped the old connectors and can now only get power to the new radio..no sound. Radio bench checks fine. Fuses are fine. But no sound to any of the car speaker wires. Its an infinity set of speakers...is there a factory amp I'm missing? Reset somewhere? Clueless and frustrated!

There most likely is an amp that needs the power antenna wire from your Pioneer hooked up to it. Here is a link to the color codes for your car. There is no ground wire in the factory harness, you have to ground it yourself. This list shows no power antenna wire, but perhaps it will allow you to check the other wires. Have you tested the speaker leads with a 1.5 volt battery yet?
