Audio Systems: green screen intermittently, sony wega sxrd, comcast hdtv cable box

Hi,

I have a new sony wega sxrd xbr 50 inch, using comcast hdtv cable box motorola dct3412 I, I am using the hdmi cable and have tried two different types of cables and still have the same intermittent problem. Some times when I turn on the TV I get a  full solid green screen, the only way I am able to clear this is to power off the cable box and power back on and everything returns to normal, Turning off the tv and back on does nothing. The audio during the green screen is fine. There  does not seem to be any common demonitor, time, channel makes not difference. I have also already replaced the cable box and that also made no difference

Dear Doug,

Have you tried having Comcast make the connections for you? Most cable services will--even if for a service fee. I have Cox, and they offer this service.

I don't have a digital TV connection yet, so I don't know how to approach this.
