Audio Systems: SUBWOOFER WIRING, mono amp, ohm speakers

Hi Victor,
How do you get the best sound from 2(12")subs?Do you wire them parallel or in series.Am I better of with a high power mono amp for the subs or a 2 channel amp.One channel for each sub?
Subs in question are 2 Rockfordfosgate 12" HX2 Power
1000w RMS(each)

Hi Steve!
Some installers or tech may disagree with this but is better to put one speaker per channel, since paralleled speakers will have half the impedance thus you will have double the current (amps)flowing in the output stage wich means lower dynamic response, systems like bose uses 2 or 1 ohm speakers but their otput stage is matched for such impedance.
