Auto Insurance Claims: sign hit car at McDonalds, san francisco bay area, drive thru

Question
I pulled up to a McDonalds drive thru, one of the signs blow over. It was placed to close to the cars and caused a large scrap mark (very large)on my car. The sign design was very poor, large with small pegs.  It was placed in mulch. The Manager said their insurance may and may not pay. What do you think. I do have insurance, but i feel that they sould pay. Thank you.

Answer
Hi Cindy,
I agree that the damage to your car should be covered by McDonalds.
You should report this to your own company so they can assist you in collecting.
Hope this has been of help.
