Audio Systems: Car head unit, car alpine, alpine head unit

Question
I installed a new stereo in my car. Alpine head unit and  Jl 4300 Amp. However, when I balance to the right and try to fade front and rear, both front and rear speakers play at the same time. The left side works fine.

I have a passive sub woofer temporarilly set up on the rear speakers, which I am thinking, shouldn't be a factor in the fading problem.

If you can tell me how you wired all of this up (RCA lines and speaker wiring) I could possibly help you becuase there is too little specific information provided to give you much more than conjecture as to specific advice.
But I think that a cautious system rewire would solve the problem, regardless.
