Audio Systems: Car Stereo cassette player problem., stereo cassette player, cotton swab

Question
When I play the audio cassette in my car stereo the sound is very dim even with the full volume on. Still with full volume on the sound is very very low and very dim. The radio works okay.
Any idea what is causing it?

Ah..tape players sometimes i miss them, i should be no more than a dirty head(in the player!!)or misaligned, if nobody has been touching the adjustements just a cotton swab with isopropyl is enough (don't clean the rubbers with isopropyl!! the head is the one in the center).
